Jozua Malherbe
Producer & Director
Jozua has been awarded several times for his work as a director in film and
television but he started in the industry as a young producer. His passion for
story telling, innovation and craft has led him to produce, direct and recently
shoot successful and often award winning prime time television dramas
including “Fluiters” (2016), “Bloedbroers” (2015) “Swartwater” (2014) and
“Donkerland” (2013).Returning to producing after a five year hiatus where he focussed on directing, he has produced two short films of which the latest, "Flesh of my Flesh" won best film, director, actor and screenplay at the 2016 Silwerskerm Film Festival in Cape Town as well as being part of the official selection at the Nashville International Film Festival, Cleveland International, Canne Short Film Corner and Hollyshorts in L.A.
Back in the producing saddle Jozua has various films in development and is working to produce content that allows audiences to better understand themselves or the world around them.

Lucia Meyer-Marais
Producer
Lucia Meyer-Marais is a film and television line producer turned entrepreneur. She
co- owns and runs Make Stuff Machine with her fellow business partner Jozua
Malherbe and is currently producing numerous feature films.In the past she has line-produced on major television dramas such as the award- winning Donkerland (2013), and Getroud met Rugby 4 (2012), and films such as
Wolwedans in die Skemer (2011), Hoofmesie (2011) and Roepman (2010). Lucia graduated with an Honours Degree in Production from AFDA in 2005. Her final year short film, Escudo, won the first ever SAFTA for Best Student Film. From there on she has most notably collaborated with many successful producers, while swiftly building a superb career and solid reputation.
